Futur proche can literally be translate as "near future", it is used to edscribe something that is going to happen in the next few hours or couple of days but no further than that into the futur, it has to be relatively close to the time you are using it.

To conjugate any verb into futur pproche you first need the verb aller. After choosing the subject pronoun you desire to use you must conjugate the verb aller appropriately. Just in case you have forgotten the conjugations are:

Je vais

Tu vas

Il va

Nous allons

Vous allez

Ils vont

After you have done that then just add your verb of choice in its infinitive form next to it. This is the same for all three verb groups.

What you have just created translates into English as "I am going to read a book" for example. Aller represents going and to read represents a verb in its infinitive form.

Some examples of completely conjugated verbs into futur proche are:

Je vais manger

Tu vas explorer

Il va lire

Nous allons prendre

Vous allez finir

Ils vont choisir

This tense can also be used as the verb part of your sentence making formula. You now have the ability to describe things in the past, present and futur in both speaking and writing.
