Verbs that end in -er are a part of the first group of French verbs. They are all conjugated the same way.

First you have to take off the -er ending to leave the stem of the verb. For example we will use the verb parler (to speak). After taking off the -er ending we are left with parl.

To that stem we add the appropriate ending for the subject (je, tu, il/elle/on, nous, vous and ils/elles).

For je you add -e

For tu you add -es

For il/elle/on you add -e

For nous you add -ons

For vous you add -ez

For ils/elles you add -ent

For the example Parler:

Je parle

Tu parles

Il/elle parle

Nous parlons

Vous parlez

Ils/elles parlent

This same structure can be applied for any verb that has the -er ending while in the infinitive.
